To Denise,

I assume from your comment that you're having a bad day. Take an aspirin and go to bed. Things will look brighter in the morning. (maybe)

Lee,

Thank you for your comment.

The wind was so powerful that day that the sheet of plywood was traveling sideways when it flew by my window on the 18th floor. It may have been in a descending pattern because the building across the way that is under construction is about 22 floors high now, but at the moment that I saw it--definitely sideways, and then out of my range of sight.

Two things:
1: I like the list. Could have used this the week I was on a boat and trying to write stuff in my journal.
2. Which direction was the plywood going? Since down is a normal direction for something to travel (gravity, you know), I'm guessing that this particular piece of plywood was taking an alternate route. Although, depending upon the angle of the wood and the size of the piece, it might be somewhat aerodynamic (for a short while anyway) and, if not fly, at least have its decent slowed.
Thanks
