Don't discount shopping on the Internet. There is a lot to be said for "letting your fingers do the walking" or driving in this case. I've gone back to college and have needed books for class. No driving to the book store for me, I'm at Amazon or another on-line book seller (plus the books cost WAY less than what the college sells them for!). The cost of shipping is still less than driving there. There are a surprising number of essentials that you can get from reputable on-line vendors. So, why drive when you can have someone else bring it to you!

All of your suggestions were great! I also find that garage saleing and thrifting cna save me a bundle. I have outfitted a whole backyard play area for my granddaughter's visits for under 25 dollars and she is as delighted as if the items had been new. I also outfitted my cupboard with a new set of Farberware pots for under $10.00 (a remarriage of two formerly divorced people meant too many fairly new pots for them and a windfall for me!) Some people won't do it, but to me it's just another way to recycle!

I feel your pain, Frank. But the oil companies are still making their outrageous profits, thank goodness.[tongue in cheek!]

It's a little hard to read a hand I cannot actually see, but I have a question that may help me in one regard. Which finger does your fate line extend toward after it goes through your heart line?
And I'm sorry to tell you that I'm going on vacation for a few days and do not intend to take my laptop with me, so I will be unable to correspond with again until Wednesday

hi, i was just wondering if anyone could answer a few questions for me..
what does it mean if my fate line runs up through my heart line?
and also what does it mean if my life line splits at about 40 and another line runs through at about 60 and then one more through 70 or 80.
the 40 and 60 run across to my fate line and they seem to make an x.
and my last question.
I read somewhere that if you have a cross or x between your head and heart line that you may have some kind of supernatural abilities.. is this true?
